All About Bill Lavery Bill was raised in Queensbury, NY with two younger sisters, Virginia and Julia. In his teen years he may have dreamed of being a cowboy, ball player, accountant or restauranteer. Never did he consider selling homes, but as it turned out, he later discovered that it brought extreme happiness when he handed a closing check to his seller or the keys to a new home to his buyer clients. After earning an Associate Degree from Adirondack Community College with a major in Accounting and Business Management, with a minor in Economics, he served 22 years in the Navy in positions of personnel management, administration and legal eagle. During his Navy career, he purchased and sold several properties - and it seemed to Bill that the real estate agents were often paid well for little obvious effort. So he decided to give it a try - and learned quickly that there was much more work behind the scenes. None the less, he enjoyed it and went on to earn designations as an Associate Real Estate Broker and a Certified Buyer Repreesntative. After working with three previous real estate companies, he was recruited by Foglietta Realty where he served as Office Manager, Property Ad Writer and agent trainer for a couple of years. Then Foglietta Realty partnered with Coldwell Banker Prime Properties and Bill now spends his time almost exclusively assisting buyers and sellers. Although Coldwell Banker Prime Properties offers amazing marketing advantages, Bill has developed a few extra ideas that he includes in his Maximum Exposure Marketing Plan to even better position his seller's homes to sell quicker for a higher price.
