CHAPTER 12 Selling a Home Out-of-Town

This book is full of some of the challenges. The situation is more complex if you must sell the property from outside the area, as in the example of a home sold to settle an estate or because of an employment relocation. However, the intimidating issues connected to out-of-town selling can be tackled and eased once you adopt some success strategies and implement some thoughtful practices. A few bothersome issues connected to selling the home from out-of-town might include that empty homes invite property and maintenance costs. Also, the insurance for a vacant home can cost significantly. However, the common goal of selling out- of-town is to get the top dollars for your property within a reasonable period. If your sale of the home involves you moving, there are a few things to do before you move to the new area to facilitate the home sale quickly and put an end to the multiple mortgages or the upkeep payment of the vacant home.
