Steve Roake - BEST SELLING OPTIONS IN A DIVORCE

Steve got into the real estate industry in 2003 when his grandfather agreed to sell the farm that had been in the family for over 100 years. As part owners, Steve's mother and uncle were planning to reinvest their portion of the proceeds into real estate rental homes to avoid taxes (using a 1031 exchange) and Steve knew someone was set to make more than $20,000 in real estate commissions helping them do it. So, he went to real estate school and got his license. In 2003, he sold 9 homes to his mother and uncle for just over $1 million in volume. He set out to sell real estate part time while he completed his Master's degree in Secondary Education and started teaching. However, with the 2008 housing crisis and the ensuing cutbacks in education, Steve no longer had a teaching position. In 2009, he embarked on real estate as his full time career and hasn't looked back since. As his career advanced, Steve found his stride working with short sale sellers and distressed homes. Through the challenging real estate market following the housing crisis, Steve found his place helping people who were struggling through hard times. He's an expert in communication with his extensive training at Landmark Worldwide. He's been trained extensively on listening powerfully to people and getting what they're going through in order to provide what's wanted and needed. Throughout his career, Steve has earned numerous accolades, including: • Weis Real Estate Rookie of the Year • Top 10% Realtor at Keller Williams Infinity with over 500 agents • Supporting buyers and sellers with the best ancillary services like home warranties, movers and life insurance
